Tinashe, independent artist extraordinaire, announced a new album set to release on August 6

Pre-order for the album starts at midnight tonight, accompanied with a new single, “I CAN SEE THE FUTURE”. The album features 16 songs with a total of 7 collabs including Jeremih, Kaash Paige, and Kaytranda.

The album announcement came with the release of a three-part video story 

The first clip of the three-part announcement featured a high-technology virtual reality experience, teasing the album name, 333. The video ends with eyes starting to grow out the palms of Tinashe’s hands.

Released almost co-currently, the second clip spotlights a zoned-out Tinashe at a doctor’s office. The TV in the waiting room echoes,  “Are you unsatisfied with the current state of your reality? Today’s your lucky day!” The video ends with doctors performing surgery on her and injecting her with an unidentified liquid.

The final clip announces the release date of the album, August 6. Tinashe wakes up the next morning, takes off her clothes, and looks in the mirror.

Tinashe, born February 6 under Aquarius season, has been embodying more “Aquarian qualities” since becoming an independent artist in 2019. The upcoming album embodies Tinashe exploring more of her spiritual insights and feelings of being distinctive and unworldly.

In addition, the album number of 333 is the spiritual angel number of encouragement, and a sign that you are on the right path in life.

“CAN I TALK MY SHIT AGAIN?!! #333” Tinashe posted on Twitter after the announcement.

After she released the track list, fans raved at the sight of “Bouncin’ Part 2”, song number 15 on the new album. “Bouncin’”, the first single released off the album, just amassed over 1 million views on YouTube for it’s unique trampoline choreography. 

Meanwhile, Tinashe spilled the tea on Twitter during the announcement, stating that if she ever dated you, she would write multiple albums about you.

“Literally hundreds of songs. Do with that information what you will.”

Fans speculate the artist talks about Tinashe’s ex, NBA star, Ben Simmons, who broke up with her for Kendall Jenner back in 2018.

Over the drama and into success, Tinashe recently starred in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition with rapper, Meg Thee Stallion. Tinashe is the first independent artist to ever feature in the magazine.
